Case
The BI Data Lake for Ticketing process shall be a ‘one-stop-shopping’ data environment and shall replace the existing Essbase application that is currently utilized to extract and report on Ticketing data. The BI Data Lake for Ticketing project shall reconcile different views of the same data in order to provide a consolidated picture of enterprise ticketing data. Ticketing Data comes from 4 major vendor source system – INVEN, BENGAL, PAPS, ELS
Our Involvement
Our team designed and developed the ETL system that has 3 data layers – Staging, Reporting and OBIEE. Staging layer represents golden copy of source data. The reporting layer models are process-centric, adhering to Kimball-style design.
OBIEE layer is modeled in a repository database (RPD) file to reflect the physical, to logical, to presentation layers of OBIEE.
